Turning two initiates many stages in your child's development. Their
language skills are increasing rapidly which prompts many "why", "what" and
"how" questions and they begin to form more complete sentences. Physically,
they love to explore ways to travel from here to there by rolling, crawling,
creeping, walking, running, jumping and climbing.
At this age toddlers need small regular meals and snacks and they should be
offered a variety of different foods each day. Encouraging your child to eat
foods that the family eats exposes them to a variety of different foods,
textures and tastes, which all help to develop your child's enjoyment of food.
Children watch others and learn from people around them, so always remember
that you are an important role model.
