Why is cow's milk in baby food for babies under 1 year?
Q: If cows milk is not suitable for babies under one year, why do bought baby foods contain milk?

A: Cows’ milk is a safe and nutritious ingredient (unless your baby has an allergy to dairy products), in commercially canned or bottled baby foods. In the processing these are heat treated to very high temperatures, so the milk protein is made more digestible and suitable for infants from about age four to six months onwards.
