How can I get my child to eat vegetables?
Q: My child won’t eat vegetables what can I do?

A: Try serving vegetables raw or blanched as a snack, with a dipping sauce or in stir-fries. Include vegetables in dishes such as lasagne or into meatballs with sauce. Make vegetable fritters or use vegetables in pizza toppings. Remember that fruit and vegetables are in the same food group and provide similar nutrients. If your child likes only a few vegetables, but eats a good selection of fruits, relax, and just keep trying, offering vegetables in various ways at intervals. If your toddler sees you and other children eating and enjoying vegetables, they will too, eventually.
