Tip for mum
Remember to eat! It may sound simple, but it is really important to make sure that you drink enough fluids and eat well during the day. Try to eat well by including a variety of nutritious foods from each of the four major food groups each day. That is:
- Fruit and vegetables
- Breads and cereals
- Lean meats, chicken, fish, eggs and alternatives (beans, lentils)
- Milk and milk products
Tip for littlies teeth
Teeth should be cleaned daily starting from when the first tooth comes through the gum. For a child under 18 months old, wipe teeth with a damp gauze pad or washcloth and a small dab of fluoride toothpaste.
